Dog Eye Stockings...Wait, what?!

THESE ARE TO DIE FOR!!! Okay, I hardly start a post with such creepy enthusiasm, but you are insane if you can't appreciate this pair of awesome fancy stockings (way to go, insulting my readers, I swear I've consumed too much sugar today). These are by QooQooFashion, an Etsy shop by graphic designer Alyona Bauska.

A Beautiful Mess

Sore fingers and sleepless nights, I haven't experienced this since secondary school when I was up makings and selling rings. Nostalgic! Sneak peek of my army of friendship bracelets that are going up on sale soon. Let's hope they sell well!

Work in Progress: Friendship Bracelets

Friendship bracelets have made a comeback. I used to wear them as anklets in secondary school! Ahh...memories. How I wish I could be that young again. But anyway, these were pretty easy to make, though all that finger work has made mine totally sore and unusable for the next 2 days. Tutorials up soon! For now, plans for these are basically made to sell, for charity! I'm heading to Myanmar to build a library for orphans so we need all the money we can get. Hopefully I can make a decent amount from this so they have a pretty library to grow up in.

USB Locket by Emily Rothschild

Amazingly brilliant. I wish I had $240USD to blow on this :( I won't ever lose my flash drives again! Sigh...temptation after temptation presenting itself to me this past week. I will persevere!

New kicks & bling

Been awhile since I used my camera to take anything, but I found my 50mm lens recently so I played around with it. Here are some pics of my new purchases! I probably shouldn't be too happy about spending money but I am...it's a sin.

Bimba & Lola purchases

Prettiest bracelet that went really well with the sweater I wore when I bought it. Maybe that's why I bought it...

New black flats from Topshop. Mine wore out a few days ago which gave me an excuse to buy new ones.

Steve Madden glitter flats I've been meaning to post for ages!

Look at all that bling!
My dad has forbidden me to buy any more shoes. And my boyfriend has forbidden me to buy any sweaters. It's just something I can't resist! At least I don't lust for diamonds or jewellery right!?

Glitter Girl

They say diamonds are a girl's best friend. I think basically anything shiny will do. Hehe. To date I have four shiny/metallic/sequined sweaters and two pairs of glitter shoes, one that I just bought from Steve Madden (and are freaking gorgeous, pics soon!). Shiny things/clothes make me really happy. They can instantly glam up any outfit, no matter how casual it is. I can't wait to shoot my new shoes! But for now I'll make up for the lack of pictures with these by Chiara from The Blonde Salad. Her glitter headband? To die for.

Boo & Boo Factory

I'm on Etsy again. I need to get my daily fix, especially on a crappy day like this. I got rudely awoken by a client after 2 hours of sleep, and had to listen to rants at 8am in the morning. Woe is me! But on a brighter note, check out these cute geometric necklaces by BooandBoo Factory! So bright and cheery, perfect for my blue friday! (just occurred to me its supposed to TGIF!)

Sunday Wants & Needs

(Clockwise from left: The Vamoose Smoky Quartz Necklace, EmersonMade Gold Coin Necklace, Mastadon Tribal Skull NecklaceEmersonMade Goldie Pocket Skirt)

You don't need any reason to own pretty things like these! Just a few favourites of mine I've been lusting over, especially that Goldie skirt from EmersonMade! Functional pockets in a skirt with the perfect hue for summer, what more could I ask for? And paired with any if the above necklaces and you're good to go. I'm a sucker for quartz. Hehe.

Julie Boyles

Amazing iPad leather cases from Julie Boyles. I am so in love with the Double Strap one, reminds me so much of the PS1! Which of course, I have no means of getting my hands on till maybe 20 years later. I like how it can double up as a clutch as well, which makes perfect sense for me since I don't even own an iPad. Hehehe.

Check out Matt from Wood&Faulk, a designer and builder. His website features beautiful projects that make my heart flutter. I have never felt so excited while looking at wood and leather. I think you'll get an idea after seeing these pictures of his latest projects, a DIY tripod chair and camera strap. Makes me wanna buy some leather now and start DIY-ing!

DIY: Woven and Braided Bracelets

Chanel (style.com)

Giles & Brother (style.com)

How pretty are these babies? Breaking out the pliers and chains! Time for some major DIY...

I love unique jewellery, especially handmade ones. And having too much time on my hands I decided to DIY a couple of pieces. I started out really calm and collected, and halfway through I almost went crazy with frustration because I got really confused with the instructions. But here's what I have so far!

Braided Hex Nut Suede bracelet

 Woven Embroidery Thread bracelets

I might post a tutorial on these soon, but be forewarned that this is not for the weak! 4 hours and plenty of broken nails later I only have 5 bracelets to show...how pathetic. But now that I'm used to making them, maybe soon I will have an arsenal of these to mix and match! Awesome possum.
